ABOUT: BIG North East
Biotechnology Ignition Grant (BIG) North East Special Call is a flagship program of BIRAC which ignites young startups and entrepreneurial individuals from North East to establish and validate a Proof of Concept (PoC) for an innovative idea. BIG North East also supports innovations relevant to the challenges or needs of the North East region. KIIT-Technology Business Incubator is the only implementation partner for BIG North East in the entire nation.

◉ Proof of Concept (PoC)
◉Encourage Innovators and Entrepreneurial researchers to take technology closer to market through a start up
◉ Foster the entrepreneurial ecosystem of North East India.

◉ Individual Innovators with Graduate Degree in any discipline, Research Scholar, Scientist, Faculty belonging from North East or is willing to implement the venture in North East .
◉Startups incorporated not more than 5 years ago from the date of application.
