EXPOSURE VISIT | YOUNG OFFICERS COURSE (ARMY AD COLLEGE) AT KIIT-TBI!

KIIT-TBI had the privilege of hosting the Young Officers Course from the Army AD College, fostering a dynamic interaction between defence personnel and the innovation ecosystem. This visit served as a valuable platform to bridge the gap between the defence sector and emerging deep-tech innovators, strengthening the vision of self-reliance in national security.

The visit commenced with a formal briefing on the KIIT-TBI & Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster Foundation, outlining the support and resources extended to defence-focused startups. Officers were introduced to the various initiatives aimed at fostering innovation in critical defence technologies.

The delegation also toured KIIT-TBI’s state-of-the-art fabrication labs, gaining first-hand insights into the advanced tools and infrastructure that enable startups to prototype and scale their innovations.

The visit concluded with an interactive session with incubated startups, where the officers engaged with founders working on transformative solutions in the defence and technology sectors.

Such engagements not only strengthen the synergy between India’s armed forces and the startup ecosystem but also pave the way for future collaborations aimed at advancing the nation’s technological capabilities.
