The 2-day Fabrication Hackathon, supported by MeitY Startup Hub (MSH), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India, brought together a vibrant community of innovators, entrepreneurs, and students. With over 90 participants from 36 teams/startups representing leading colleges across Odisha and West Bengal, the event celebrated creativity and problem-solving.
Throughout the event, participants gained valuable insights through engaging sessions designed to support innovators and startups. From understanding the resources and mentorship available at the KIIT-Technology Enabling Center (TEC) to adopting a user-centric approach through Design Thinking, the sessions equipped participants with essential knowledge. Additionally, discussions on Funding Opportunities at KIIT-TBI and practical tips on How to Pitch empowered teams to refine their ideas and present them effectively.
The hands-on Fab Lab experience further fueled creativity, as participants transformed concepts into functional prototypes. The collaborative spirit and dedication showcased during the Hackathon were truly inspiring, reflecting the immense potential of emerging innovators.
