The journey of KIIT-TBI with MeitY, GoI has been marked by unwavering support and collaboration to foster sustainable growth in the Electronics and IT industries in Odisha and PAN India. MEITY’s flagship programs, including TIDE 2.0, TIDE Scale Up Fund & SAMRIDH Accelerator schemes, have played a pivotal role in KIIT-TBI’s efforts to promote technology-led innovations in the IT and Electronics sector. MEITY’s support through the TIDE 2.0 EIR and Grant has been instrumental in encouraging and nurturing early-stage innovative concepts, driving them toward validation and commercialization. 15 innovations have received backing under these schemes, and several have secured private investments exceeding INR 10 Crores. Additionally, the SASACT scheme, which KIIT-TBI partnered with MEITY, has furthered the growth of 10 startups in the market. These startups have been working on electronics hardware and ICT-based technologies to develop or repurpose solutions for the post-COVID-19 scenario & have led to external investments totaling INR 48 Crores. Recently, the SAMRIDH Accelerator scheme has come into play, and KIIT-TBI has onboarded 14 startups under this initiative.
